"Just One More" (aka Ian) was born March 29th, 2009 at 7:30pm. He is out of Kelsey
(“Spotless”) by Formula One.
Ian, also known around the barn as Starky (or Snarky when he’s naughty) is currently a liver
chestnut. I am excited to watch this guy grow up as he is proving to have quite the attitude
which I am sure will make him a great eventer.

"Spotless" The true star of the THF team is Kelsey, life wouldn’t be the same without
her. Kelsey and I have been together since 1993. She’s a 15.2h Appaloosa mare who has done it
all. From the Children’s Hunters and Jumpers, to packing mules, barrel racing, and Eventing,
she’s truly one of a kind. Kelsey retired in November of 2008 and is enjoying a well deserved
retirement in Washington state. Kelsey is also mother to “Spot On” and is currently in foal to
Formula One, due March,
2009.

Cimply "Spot On" Izzy is Kelsey’s 2006 filly, by Holsteiner stallion Cimarron. Needless
to say Izzy’s spots were a big surprise, and everything about this little filly amazes me.
Izzy’s leap as a yearling over a 4-foot gate gives me confidence that she’ll be one to watch in
the eventing world. I backed Izzy as a 2 year old and she couldn’t have been better. A few
training sessions as a 2 and 3yr old, Izzy proved herself quickly, becoming comfortable
long-lining, lunging over fences, and trail riding. In the summer of her 3yr old year Izzy
began a 6 week training stint at Stanford which included her first x-c schooling. She
confidently jumps up and down banks, over ditches, and into and out of the water! Nothing
frightens this little filly. We finished out the summer with Izzy competing for the first time
at the elemental level at the Twin River One Day Horse Trials. Izzy is now back at the farm for
the winter in Washington state where she will continue to grow and mature until ready for big
girl work as a four year old.

“Dillinger” a 1993 Australian Thoroughbred purchased in April 2006 by an anonymous
sponsor for Meg to ride and compete. Dillinger and former owner Skyler Icke competed up to the
3-star level. Dillinger has a long and successful eventing career and I’ve enjoyed learning the
upper level ropes from this talented boy!
NEWS: Dillinger been sold! Congratulations to his new owner.
I wish her the best of luck with this special boy. He taught me so much in the short time I
owned him, I feel lucky to have had the ride on a one of a kind horse.

“First Rate” THF wouldn't be complete without Sequoia. "Squish" as he's affectionately
called, is a 13yr old New Zealand thoroughbred. Brought over from NZ more than 6 years ago,
Sequoia is owned by Margot Guis and is ridden/competed by Meg. This amazing horse made his US
eventing debut in 2002 at Ram Tap, winning the Open Novice division. He spent 2002-2004 as a
hunter/jumper until Meg took over the reins and his training career. The pair completed 4
training level events with 0 jump penalties in 2005 and recently made the move up to Prelim.
Feb 2006 Meg and Sequoia were involved in a riding accident. As a result Squish has been retired
from eventing.
NEWS: “Squish” retired from competition in 2006 but will
always hold a special place in my heart. He passed away in November of 2007. He is very deeply
missed.
